Banana Bread meets Coffee Cake

Ingredient Breakdown:

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread/Coffee Cake Hybrid:

  • 1/2 cup (100g) sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 cup (100g) packed light brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup (110g) unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 

  • 1/2 cup (130g) 2% Greek yogurt OR sour cream 

  • 1 1/3 cups (180g) all-purpose flour

  • 1 1/2 cups (380g) ripe and mashed banana (3-4 medium bananas, lookin for peak blackness tho)

  • 1/2 cup toasted walnuts (more or less depending on how crunchy you like it) 

  • 3/4 cup (140g) chocolate chips

Coffee Streusel Crumble

  • 5 tablespoon butter softened

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

    • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

  • This will make excess topping so leave a good handful out of it

Bake at 325F for 1hr to 1:15 until a toothpick comes out moist with some crumbs but not dry- let it cool for 20 mins
